Hey there, my name is Brad Smith, owner of AutomationLinks. I help people automate their websites, emails, and marketing using automation. We set up these automation ads with YouTube to drive people to your site, get them to fill out a form, send an email, and even make a purchase. I’ve been doing this for the last 10 years and have helped over 2,500 clients. Hopefully, I can help you too. Today, I’m going to walk you through how you can set up your own YouTube ads to get more
subscribers, leads, and customers.
If you have a website and are on YouTube doing social media posts, adding videos can really boost your game. YouTube ads are fantastic because they are cost-effective and build relationships with your audience. When people find you on YouTube, they subscribe, watch more of your videos, visit your site, and eventually might make a purchase.
To get started, make sure you have a clear call to action in every video. Direct viewers to your website, newsletter, or a specific landing page. This helps in capturing leads. For instance, in my video descriptions, I invite viewers to join my newsletter and get a free blueprint. This way, they get on my email list, and I can follow up with them regularly.
Providing consistent, educational content is key to building relationships with your audience. Start by researching what your potential customers are searching for on Google and YouTube. Create videos around these topics to attract viewers who are interested in what you offer.
For example, I research keywords related to setting up YouTube ads to get more visitors and leads. I then create videos that address these topics, ensuring I include a link to my website or a free resource in the video description. This drives traffic to my site and helps me capture leads.
Once someone finds you on YouTube and visits your site, it’s crucial to have an automated follow-up system in place. After they fill out a form, invite them to take further action, like scheduling a call or making a purchase. Even if they don’t take immediate action, adding them to an email list for follow-up is essential.
Send automated emails to build a relationship over time. This way, when they are ready to buy, they will come back to you. I recommend sending six or seven automated emails to nurture these leads. This consistent communication helps keep your brand top of mind.
Not everyone is ready to buy right away. This is where YouTube ads come in handy. By setting up retargeting ads, you can keep your brand in front of potential customers. Use Google PMax to retarget visitors from your website and YouTube ads to reach those who have watched your videos or subscribed to your channel.
Set a budget for these retargeting ads, around $500 a month, to follow up with your audience. This way, they will see your ads on YouTube, Google, and even in their Gmail. Retargeting ensures that your brand stays top of mind, increasing the likelihood of conversions.
So, that's how you set up successful YouTube ad campaigns! It’s all about building relationships, creating helpful content, and using automation and retargeting to stay in touch with your audience. Follow these steps to get more subscribers, leads, and customers.
