PHASE 3: FOLLOW-UP

Lesson 9 - Community

Be different, stand out, and become the authority online.

Your Checklist

  1. Engage Directly: Respond to comments, DMs, and emails personally to show you value your audience.
  2. Provide Value Weekly: Commit to delivering something your audience will benefit from—whether it’s a free resource, tip, or insight.
  3. Encourage Contributions: Ask your community to share stories, photos, or ideas about how they use your product or interact with your brand.
  4. Create a Space for Them: Build a private Skool group or email segment where your most engaged fans can connect with you and each other.

The Lesson

  • Step 1: Double Down on Connection

Building a community isn’t about constantly chasing new followers or customers—it’s about strengthening the bond with the people who already believe in your brand. Review what content, campaigns, or interactions have resonated most with your audience. Use this as a blueprint to create even deeper, more meaningful connections.

  • Step 2: Focus on Your Engaged Audience

Not everyone who follows your brand is equally invested. Focus your time and resources on the audience that engages the most—whether that’s through likes, comments, shares, or email responses. These are the people who are most likely to become loyal fans, advocates, and even repeat customers.

  • Step 3: Create Shared Value

Community thrives on mutual benefit. Provide consistent value through educational content, behind-the-scenes looks, or special offers that make your fans feel part of something exclusive. In return, you’ll earn trust, loyalty, and the advocacy of your biggest supporters.

  • Step 4: Empower Your Fans

The best communities are built when the members themselves become contributors. Encourage user-generated content, customer testimonials, and feedback that lets your audience feel they have a voice in your brand. A community that feels heard will be your most powerful asset.
