How to Automate Your Marketing in 2025 (Full Guide)

Key Takeaways from Marketing Automation Guide:

  • CRM is Essential - Using a Customer Relationship Management system is crucial for automating your marketing efforts. Whether it's Go High Level or another platform, having a centralized system to manage leads, emails, and social media is fundamental for growth.
  • Automated Follow-Up is Critical - Don't leave potential customers hanging after they show interest. Set up automated email sequences and follow-up systems to nurture leads while you focus on running your business.
  • Track Everything - Implement proper reporting to monitor leads, visitors, and marketing channel performance. This data helps you optimize what's working and eliminate what isn't, making your marketing more efficient.
  • Multi-Channel Integration - Connect all your platforms (social media, email, website) to create a seamless automation system. This integration helps build stronger relationships with leads across different touchpoints.
  • Pre-Qualification Matters - Use tools like quizzes and forms to learn about leads before connecting with them. This helps streamline your sales process and ensures better-quality conversations with potential customers.

Hey there! I'm Brad Smith, owner of AutomationLinks. We've been helping 2500+ brands automate their marketing over the last 10 years. Stick with me to the end and I'll show you the exact blueprint we use to follow up and market to our customers. You can use this as a cheat sheet to grow your brand.

Why You Should Try This for Your Brand

We use a CRM called Go High Level that does everything from emails to social media posts to tracking all our leads. If you're not using a CRM for your business, I highly recommend checking it out. But it doesn't matter which CRM you use - the important thing is to use one to help automate your marketing.

When I say marketing automation, I mean something you can plug in to follow up with visitors, convert leads, and get more customers while you're busy running your business. You don't have time to manually do all this stuff, so we recommend software to automate these actions so you can build better relationships with your leads.

Automate Your Marketing Tips

Here's a view of my Go High Level dashboard where you can plan out and schedule your social media posts. I recommend making these as personal as possible, connecting your social media channels, and syncing them across all your platforms.

You can also set up different automations. This is my automation workflow where we set up automated email follow-ups to continue building relationships with our leads. Once somebody downloads one of our lead magnets, they automatically get emails asking them to confirm their email, providing the download link, and continuing to follow up with education and value.

We also have our opportunities pipeline where we can track all the leads and what they're interested in. This allows us to say "Hey, this client was interested in this product" and make sure we follow up accordingly.

CRM Importance

Many of you might be using something like Calendly, but we like to have everything in one place to keep it simple and streamlined. We use a calendar system to allow people to book calls with us on our website. This turns them into a pipeline lead and triggers automation to follow up.

If you're not following up with people after they schedule a call, you're missing out on a big opportunity. Ask them to follow you on social media or subscribe to your YouTube channel. Embed your calendar links in your website - this helps with SEO and keeps visitors on your site longer.

Marketing Automation for Growth

You can add custom quizzes to learn more about leads before you get on a call with them. This helps pre-qualify leads when they first come into your business. We like setting up quizzes so we can learn more about you, your business, and what you're looking for.

Don't forget about reporting. You need to be able to track how many leads you get, how many visitors, where they came from, and which marketing channels work best. This allows you to continue optimizing what's working and shut off things that aren't.

Social Media Strategy

In your CRM, you can find those missing links, continue to optimize what's working, and shut off things that aren't. You can set up things like memberships, landing pages, and don't forget to start getting those 5-star reviews and asking for testimonials.

Email Automation

When I talk about marketing automation, I'm talking about the entire system to automatically follow up with visitors, turn them into leads, and most importantly, turn them into customers. You want to give them things, follow up, connect on other platforms, track it all, and make sure reporting is in place. That way you can scale and turn up ads or marketing channels that are working. Then you want to ask for reviews and get referrals - that's how a true business grows.

As promised, Here is my free guide. You can grab it to see exactly how to automate all these different marketing channels. The goal is to follow up, so when you get that follow-up blueprint, I hope you implement it. Let me know if you need any help!
