We used a combination of consistent, valuable content, active engagement with our audience, and targeted advertising campaigns. We focused on building relationships rather than just gaining numbers.
Our most successful content included educational posts, industry insights, behind-the-scenes looks, and interactive polls/questions. Content that encouraged conversations and offered real value resonated most with our audience.
We utilized X's targeting options based on interests, demographics, and behaviors. We also regularly refined our audience targeting based on the performance data of our campaigns, focusing on people who were engaging with our content.
We used a multi-step approach. We made sure that our bio link was clear and directed people to our sign-up page. We also offered valuable content like ebooks or checklists as an incentive for people to subscribe. Additionally, we used direct messages to personally invite engaged followers to join our email list.
Organic growth was fueled by consistently engaging with other users' content, responding to comments and DMs, participating in relevant conversations, and using relevant hashtags. Building a community by being genuinely active was key.
We used X's analytics dashboard to monitor impressions, engagement, followers gained, and link clicks. We also used UTM parameters on our links to track traffic sources and conversions. Regularly analyzing this data allowed us to optimize our efforts.
The most challenging aspect was building trust and credibility from scratch, especially in a competitive digital space. We overcame this by consistently providing value, being transparent, and actively engaging with our audience to foster genuine relationships.
